The Misfit Mystics currently consists of 2 best friends of over 15 years, Chelsea and Samantha. All our lives we've been the black sheep, in our families, at school, at work, we always seem to be the misfits, so we call ourselves just that; Misfits. We met in high school and immediately clicked. You ever have a friend who feels like a soulmate? Like you've been friends through all your past lives and no matter what you go through you stick together? That's us. We're meant to do life together, one way or another.

Chelsea is an empathic chaos witch and mother of 3. She has a gift for Tarot, DIY, and all kinds of research. She creates all kinds of witchy products such as spell candles, loose incense blends, witch's runes, deity dolls, ritual bath herbal blends, pendulums, spell kits, custom-made spell jars, worry dolls, and more. Chelsea is also a published author who's written 2 books so far, one on Tarot, Schalee's Tarot Key, and one For new witches just starting out, The Beginning: a grimoire for new witches. She's been following a pagan path for about sixteen years now and has been reading tarot since the beginning. She is well-read on a myriad of different styles of witchcraft, holds a basic understanding of various world religions, and has mastered the art of nonjudgement. Why did we create Misfit Mystics?

We Started Misfit Mystics in September of 2020 because we have gifts we want to share with other like-minded misfits. We each have our own areas we study so coming together to share our knowledge seemed like the perfect thing to do. And the long-term goal for the Misfit Mystics is to cultivate our Facebook group, Misfit Mystics- Esoteric Network into a sort of "one-stop-shop" for all things mystical, witchy, and spiritual. We want to collaborate with other mystics, healers, spiritual teachers, witches, occultists, and esoterics so that we can create a place where you can find anything for your healing, mystic, witchy, & spiritual needs. From Tarot readings and spiritual mentorship to metaphysical supplies, gifts, and misc.  items. Poppet uses and a printable pattern!

 What is a poppet? Poppets have been used in many cultures for many reasons. The most common and easily recognizable ones are voodoo dolls. Voodoo dolls specifically are of course part of a closed practice and off-limits to outsiders. That doesn't mean ALL poppets are off limits though. They can be very useful in many different types of magic, which I'll go over later in this post. A poppet is basically just a doll made to represent a person a spell is targeted at. They can be used in baneful magic to place a curse or hex on someone, but they can also be used in protective magic, Healing magic, To send someone good luck or good vibes, and plenty of other things. Making a Money Bowl

 What is a money bowl? Who couldn't use some more money in their life? A money bowl is a bowl or other container filled with things to draw money to you. You can fill it with all kinds of things, there's no one right way to do it. below I'll go over how I do mine. Feel free to use it exactly how I write it or to change it up as you see fit! How I do my money bowl First I took a ceramic bowl & cleansed it with some incense. Then I drew sigils on the inside for things like "Money from good sources comes to me", "Money flows to me with ease" and "My Etsy shop makes sales".
